The annual Hope Village Christmas program is a time-honored tradition. Each year, the Villagers invite the community to participate as they demonstrate the meaning of Christmas in their own unique way. Over the years, themes have varied from the Flintstones Christmas, to Singing Elvises, to the more traditional Christmas story.
This year, in an effort to mitigate the risks associated with the COVID-19 virus, Hope Village made the difficult-but-necessary decision to pivot the program from an in-person offering to a virtual one. While the program’s format has temporarily changed, the spirit and joy from the Christmas program’s 49-year history remains.
From December 21-25, the Villagers will perform one Christmas carol per day, accompanied by Keith Neubauer on piano. Hope Village will release a Christmas carol video on their Facebook page, The Foundation for Hope Village, each day at 12:30 PM.
AMOCO Federal Credit Union serves as the sponsor for this year’s virtual concert series.
