Families of the residents and day program participants at Hope Village are encouraged to join Hearts of Hope. Annual dues are $25 for parents and active memberships, $35 for sponsoring memberships and $50 for patrons. This group assists the administration and staff of Hope Village by providing support and volunteers for field trips and other activities including fundraising events.

Each year, Hearts of Hope sponsors a dance for all area special needs individuals, helps take Villagers to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and each October the group plans and hosts “Fun Day.” Fun Day involves games, a live band, dancing, a parade with Villagers dressed in costumes and a Barbeque. Hearts of Hope also hosts a Christmas party for the staff of Hope Village to show appreciation for the care they give year-round.

Hearts of Hope meet quarterly to discuss upcoming events and hear from guest speakers on issues of interest to the group. Newsletters are also sent to families and friends with information concerning Hope Village.
